So, did you hear the rumour, that highlighting and contouring is out and strobing is in? Switch up your skincare for 2016 with this new look that’s all the rage. I show you how to get the look with this super-easy strobing tutorial, perfect for beginners.
So what’s the difference between strobing and highlighting and contouring?
While highlighting and contouring is all about emphasise facial structure by using light and shade, strobing is a much more subtle technique which only uses highlighting to give the skin is a glowing, dewy finish. The idea (at least in my opinion) is for makeup to look light, fresh, flushed, and youthful, rather than heavily applied and structured.
Cheeks are still highlighted, but the jawline isn’t contoured with bronzer as you would when highlighting and contouring.
